Our story
Greg and I met on Facebook Dating. I reached out to him and I hadn't heard back. I was about to give up when he responded to my request. He had been out of town and hadn't seen my request. We met at Julio's Mexican restaurant on our first date and I was running late. He had a table when I got there and extended his hand to shake mine but I said, "I'm a hugger" and he was smitten. We talked for hours, closed the restaurant and talked for another hour in the parking lot. Several dates later and several years later, we just celebrated 18 months married.
What the weekend would mean to us
We have had a few hardships this year with family illness, and a family loss. Greg has stepped up to help his dad recover from a stroke, all while continuing to work his regular job, keep up with all his other outside responsibilities and does it with a smile and great attitude. This had taken a lot of time away from us and spending a weekend at the ranch would give him the much needed rest to decompress. He loves horses and riding and spending time relaxing in a pool. This would fill his cup that has been draining with all the pressure he has had this last year.
