Our story
Over 17 years ago I met my husband working at HEB. I was working as a cashier while he was in seafood. Funny story that I love sharing is while working as a cashier I was training a new employee. When my husband (Robert) would walk up front to use the only bathroom in the store, I would make comments like “one day I’m gonna marry him”. The girl I was training would laugh but never agree how cute he was. A short time later I asked her why she never agreed with me or chime in. The answer she gave…. “he’s my cousin”. Never in my life thought someone could get me to turn as red as I did that day. A few years later we married since we found out we were pregnant and my husband decided to enlist in the Marine Corps to take care of us financially. 15 years later we now have 4 beautiful children.
What the weekend would mean to us
A honeymoon we never had and the chance to have some quality alone time together that we rarely have time for.
