Our story
Two novels, four screenplays, two children’s book and a handful of business ideas later...all in 6 years... this Scottish gal’s creative well could use a top uppyl. I swapped Scotland for Houston, gathered a glorious tribe along the way, and now I’m ready for wide Texas skies, laughter, mischief and inspiration for whatever story comes next. Apparently, even imagination needs a holiday.
What the weekend would mean to us
Space. To laugh ridiculously, gather the people who’ve made Houston home, and remember that inspiration usually turns up when you stop chasing it. I’d arrive with my tribe, my Scottishness and absolutely no sensible plans, and leave, I suspect, with a full heart and the beginnings of the next story.
