Our story
Jacob and I are a couple that most wouldn’t place together as I Jessica am 12 years older than him. We started this journey via him messaging me on Facebook and having patience with me trying to “brush him off”. I am so thankful for his persistence with me though as my daughters adore him and I am so blessed to have his son Jace in my life. I never would’ve dreamed a blended family would be what God had in store for me. We are truly blessed to have one another.
What the weekend would mean to us
Jacob and Jace have only been on one vacation ever in their lives and that was of recent. The vacation wasn’t a very successful one as my car broke down on the way to our destination (the engine is being replaced on it), a storm rolled in at our destination so we didn’t get to spend much time on the beach. Although we did have some great moments here and there it definitely fell flat. My girls have been on many trips however even with that said they are animal lovers and it’s my oldest daughters dream to own a highland cow. So visiting the ranch would mean so much to all of us and it would be a redemption from our vacation flop.
