A single mom who wants to give back to her senior mom
Our story
I have always felt called to minister through music. I sing and write songs, and it has helped me heal through divorce, single parenting, and some trying health issues in our family. I always thought I would have a career in music and ministry to pay the bills and help my mom retire. She was sadly also a single mom, and she has struggled my whole life, working so hard! She's only been out of the U.S. once in her life for a brief work trip in the 80's, but I would love her to have a trip and give her some money towards her bills. She is 78 and still often works double shifts. I want her to have some goodness in her life in this really tough season. She gives all the glory to God in her life. I know a great reward is waiting for her in heaven, but she is so deserving of a reward here on earth.
What the weekend would mean to us
Long-needed respite for my mom, who hasn't had a vacation or just had fun in so many years.
