The Castillo Zapata Family

Still Standing Strong

Our story

My family has walked through heartbreak that only God could carry us through. When my brother passed, my parents stepped in and raised his only child with the love and strength that comes from Him alone. We left the RGV and began a new chapter in DFW, trusting God with every step. His grace held us together, and today we are still standing strong. (It’s hard to get us all in one picture but the one I uploaded is my sister, my niece, and myself)

What the weekend would mean to us

My niece loves animals just like her dad, and every time she lights up around them, we see him in her. After losing my brother, my parents raised his only child with the same love he gave. Moving from the RGV to DFW was hard, but God carried us through. A weekend at the ranch would be a healing gift for us, a moment of peace, joy, and connection that reminds us why we are still standing strong.
