One last family vacation
Our story
Hey there! My name is Kimber-Lea and I'm part of a very large blended family. Although we are large and diverse we all can agree on one thing... our Grammy is our whole world. Karen got diagnosed with an aggressive cancer stage 4 back in late 2025. Our Grammy was known for being a light to everyone she knew...in the Bible study groups, at her work, in the church, and if you just met her in passing. She went through various treatments... Chemo, radiation, amino therapies however nothing worked. The cancer still continues to grow and spread. We were a family that used to take a big vacation every summer together but we have found that with everyone trying to help Grammy afloat by paying for medication, treatments, and therapy we can no longer afford it. I'm entering this hoping for a miracle and one last family vacation with Grammy
What the weekend would mean to us
A weekend at the Ranch would mean we could all get together as a family one last time to celebrate the life that Grammy gave us. To return the selflessness she has shown her whole life and repay her by being surrounded by her family who loves her dearly. To reminisce over the good times and make new memories
