Molly & Lee
Blind .. yet together we see Gods Grace
Our story
We both came from brokenness and pain, yet in spite of that we found each other. A diagnosis of RP changed our lives but God knew our vision would become clearer. Life has not been easy but He has always provided. Together almost 21 years in October, and no matter the challenge before us, we just keep believing God will provide .
What the weekend would mean to us
Honestly, it would be a gift for my husband . Life has definitely been more challenging since his diagnosis as he has gradually lost his sight . I am 63 and he is 53 and together we have weathered losses and taking care of family and believing God will provide and He has ! But sometimes, Lee feels like if only things were different. He believes he doesn’t pull his weight yet he fails to see that his keen insight without his complete vision and his renewed faith that God has a plan is exactly what keeps me going. When I am a mess, he is my strength . We don’t do vacations. We use the little extra time we have to visit our kids and grands in Maryland twice a year . I know he would not be able to see all the beauty of a trip like this but he would experience it and see it through his special sight of gratefulness and through my eyes as I tell him what is in front of us .. around us … the sunrises and the sunsets .. just like every day here in North Carolina . I want to give him an experience that every other sense he has will never forget. Thank you for reading and congrats and blessings to whoever the winner is of this blessed gift 🩵
