20 years apart and somehow, we found our way back to each other.
Our story
In 2007, I studied abroad in Perth, Australia. The moment I saw Jesse, I just knew..it was him. We fell for each other and dated for as long as we could, but we were young and from opposite sides of the world. Life took us in separate directions for nearly 20 years. Then, in 2025, fate brought us back together. Jesse gave us his whole life to move here to be my husband and stepfather to my son.
What the weekend would mean to us
A weekend at the ranch would give us a chance to step away from the stresses of everyday life and just enjoy being together. Jesse has made enormous sacrifices to move his life from Australia to Texas, and right now we’re navigating the challenges that come with starting over, including the fact that he can’t work yet. We’re building a life together, but it hasn’t been easy. A quiet weekend away would give us a chance to reconnect, relax, laugh, and enjoy each other without thinking about everything we need to figure out next.
