All things work for Good.

Our story

In 2022 I got married 4/30 and on 5/24 I got a phone call from my doctor that my blood looked weird & he asked if I felt okay, I said no & he sent me to the hospital where my I was diagnosed with leukemia and spent 39 days in the hospital! 2 weeks in to aggressive chemo, my appendix ruptured. I wondered why the Lord didn’t just take me many times. My last chemo was 2/13/23 & was in remission! I had made peace with an 80% chance I wouldn’t have biological children, but I have 2 stepsons and felt the Lord gave them to me. Oct 23, I found out I was pregnant. I am now 4.5 years in remission, with a 2 year old healthy boy and a 13 & 10 year old step son! I quit my job to stay at home with my baby and chase the big kids. It is often difficult and sacrifices have to be made but, I don’t want to miss a thing after almost losing it. The Lord is good and as I am reminded so often, Romans 8:28 - All things work for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose!

What the weekend would mean to us

A get away with my husband to just relax and not worry and not have to stress about the cost of every single moment would be so refreshing!
