Our story
I moved back to my parents home to get away from my abusive husband. Alone with my daughter that has Prader Willi Syndrome at 22. My mother brought me to a restaurant to apply for a job. As I got out of the car I was scared. She told me, God has plans Jeannie. You are going to meet lifelong friends here. I walked in and my husband of now 29 years hired me. He adopted our daughter when she was 1 year old and we have 2 more daughters. Our glass of milk is more than 1/2 full.
What the weekend would mean to us
Next year we will celebrate 30 years of marriage. Trying to find a perfect place to go has been difficult. We don’t want to be too far away from NY in case our now 34 year old daughter needs us. She has outlived her life span. This seams like a perfect getaway.
