Our story
College roommate gone wrong + Fiancé gone wrong = Hillary & Ashley. Moving from Florida to Texas for Grad school, Ashley visited Texas to move his sister in with her roommates only to see Hillary painting her room pink. He moved to Texas and their hands crossed paths. Both thought “this is who I will marry”. Married two years later and a love whirlwind for 16 years. God has truly blessed their mess.
What the weekend would mean to us
The last two years have been the hardest two years of our lives. We’ve experienced tragic loss, career changes, mental health challenges due to medications, and now in the process of moving from a safe small town to a huge city. Hillary is starting Seminary this fall and Ashley will be beginning his career once again. Weekend getaways are a gift from God and are what have kept this marriage together. We believe in the power of prayer and we pray this goes to the right couple who needs it.
