Our story
We met at a Ford dealership. Dakota was a technician, and I was one of the service advisors. At first, we just noticed each other around work and slowly started talking mainly about work and vehicles in shop. Eventually, we decided to hang out outside of work, and the rest is history. Two years later, we’re engaged and building our future together. ❤️
What the weekend would mean to us
This weekend would mean so much to us right now. After getting engaged this year, we were looking forward to celebrating and taking a trip to Ireland together, but Dakota’s unexpected injury forced us to put those plans on hold. Thankfully, he is healing, but he still has limitations. A weekend at the ranch would give us something we desperately need: a chance to slow down, forget about the stress for a little while, and simply enjoy being together. It would be an opportunity to celebrate our engagement, make new memories, and have a little fun after a difficult season. And for me, getting to experience all the animals—especially the Highland cows I absolutely adore—would make it even more special. I actually got engaged with a Highland cow holding my ring, so being able to celebrate our engagement surrounded by them would feel incredibly full-circle. 🐮💍 We would treasure this weekend not just as a luxury getaway, but as a chance to reconnect, laugh, relax, and remember that even during hard seasons, there are beautiful moments waiting for us. ❤️
