Forever my happy
Our story
I was living in a nightmare, shattered completely and he came along, asked me if he could, “be some happy in my life… for a day or month or however long I would have him.” I was cautious, but said yes. He saw me at my worst then walked with me to my best. Nearly 20 years later, we are the happy in each other’s worlds. I’ve been with him at his lowest and walked him back up the mountain. We do life together in Christ Jesus.
What the weekend would mean to us
We both work high stress jobs (cop and teacher) and try hard to get away, just the 2 of us, once every other year. Our schedules don’t always line up so we often miss seeing one another. Right now we don’t want to go far because of sickness in our families. Getting away, especially to the area where we met and fell in love (Brenham) would feel so special!
